First visit to the dentist - Age one
The first visit of your child to a dentist should be at the age of one. It will include advice on oral hygiene, diet habits and the familiarization of your child with the dentist. Also bear in mind that tooth decay may appear from the age of 12 months and destroy the teeth very rabidly. How can a child have good experience visiting a dentist when having painful, decayed teeth which may have to be extracted? Since dental decay is considered nowadays as the disease of the uniformed people, the early visit to the dentist is the best preventive measure against dental decay.
