Dr. Petros Kokkinos DDS

Born in Lefkoniko in 1964. Studied dentistry at the University of Athens, Greece and received his DDS degree in 1989. Specialized in orthodontics in the Louisiana State University Medical Center (LSUMC) and received his specialization diploma in 1994.

AWARDS :
Best postgraduate research award for year 1995 from the  LSUMC  university. 
Dr. J. Bordelon award for the best clinical performance for the class of postgraduate students 1991 - 1994 from the orthodontic department of LSUMC.
Finalist for the Hatton award competition in 1993 at the IADR meeting in Chicago USA.

RESEARCH:
He has researched, presented and published work on Bone Metabolism and its application to clinical practice.

He was the president of the Cyprus Orthodontic Society board between the years 2002 - 2004.
He was the secretary of the Cyprus Orthodontic Society board between the years 1998 - 2002.
He was a member of the Cyprus Orthodontic Society board between the year 1996 - 1998.

PUBLICATIONS - PRESENTATIONS:
He has four scientific publications in international  journals. He has lectured in international and local lmeetings in clinical topics such as early orthodontic treatment, adult treatment and in topics related to reaseach about bone metabolism.

PRACTISE:
He has established the orthodontic and pediatric clinic in 1995 where he is practicing exclusively orthodontics for children and adults.

Petros loves boating and his main hobbies are cycling, fishing and scuba diving in Cyprus and abroad. He is an amateur marine photographer.
